How we handle your information
01Who we are
FX Help (the “App”, “Service”, “we”, “us”) is a registered trading-tools brand operating in Nigeria. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and disclose information about you when you install or use FX Help on Android.
We act as the data controller for personal data processed through the App. If you have questions, contact us at fxhelp247@gmail.com.
02Information we collect
Information you provide
- Telegram user ID — generated when you start a conversation with our Telegram onboarding bot. We use it to recognise your account.
- IQ Option session token (SSID) — when you link your IQ Option account through the bot, IQ Option returns a session token. We store this on our server only; it is never written to your device. You can revoke it at any time by unlinking your account.
- Trading preferences and risk settings — stake size, daily loss limit, asset preferences, auto-trade on/off.
Information collected automatically
- Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM) token — a push-notification address for your device. Without it, the App cannot deliver real-time signals.
- Trade history — the time, asset, direction, stake, and outcome of each trade the App executes on your behalf.
- App activity — anonymous timestamps showing when the App received a signal, attempted a trade, and the success or failure status.
- Diagnostic data — non-personal crash reports and performance metrics when the App encounters an error.
Information we do not collect
- Your real name, photograph, or government ID.
- Your phone’s location (GPS) or precise coordinates.
- Your contacts, photos, microphone, or camera.
- Your IQ Option password — only the session token returned by IQ Option after you authenticate with them directly.
- Payment card details — we do not take payments through the App. All funding flows happen on the IQ Option platform.
03How we use your information
We process the data above strictly to:
- Operate the core service (matching your account to signals and executing trades you have authorised).
- Deliver push notifications about signals and trade outcomes.
- Show you your own trade history and performance inside the App.
- Detect and fix crashes, abuse, and security incidents.
- Comply with applicable law and respond to lawful requests.
We do not use your information for advertising, profiling for ads, or selling to third parties. We do not run a data brokerage.
04Legal basis (GDPR / UK GDPR)
If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, our legal basis depends on the activity:
- Contract performance — for the core trade-execution service you signed up for.
- Legitimate interests — for fraud prevention, security, and product improvement, balanced against your rights.
- Consent — for push notifications, which you can revoke in your device settings at any time.
- Legal obligation — where we are required to retain records by law.
05Sharing & processors
We share information only with the limited service providers needed to run the App:
- Google Firebase Cloud Messaging (Google LLC) — to deliver push notifications. Receives only your FCM token and the notification payload. Firebase privacy.
- IQ Option (IQ Option Europe Ltd) — the brokerage platform on which trades are placed. We send authenticated trade instructions on your behalf using the session token you provided.
- Telegram (Telegram FZ-LLC) — used for the onboarding bot only. We do not receive your phone number from Telegram unless you choose to share it.
- Contabo (Contabo GmbH) — our hosting provider in the European Union. All server data lives on their infrastructure under a Data Processing Agreement.
We may also disclose information to comply with valid legal process, protect our rights, or in a corporate transaction such as a merger or acquisition.
06Data retention
- Account & settings: kept while your account is active and for 12 months after closure, then deleted or anonymised.
- Trade history: retained for 24 months for your reference and for fraud monitoring, then anonymised.
- FCM tokens: kept until invalidated by Firebase or until you uninstall the App.
- Diagnostic logs: rotated and deleted after 30 days.
- IQ Option session token: overwritten on every refresh and erased when you unlink.
07Security
All traffic between the App, our servers, Telegram, Firebase, and IQ Option uses TLS 1.2 or higher. The IQ Option session token is encrypted at rest. Our database lives on a private internal Docker network, not exposed to the public internet. We follow industry practices including least-privilege access, encrypted backups, and regular dependency updates.
No system is perfectly secure. If we become aware of a personal data breach affecting you, we will notify you and, where required, the relevant supervisory authority within 72 hours.
08Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you.
- Correct inaccurate or incomplete data.
- Delete your data (“right to be forgotten”).
- Object to or restrict certain processing.
- Request a portable copy of your data in a machine-readable format.
- Withdraw consent at any time without affecting prior lawful processing.
- Lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

09Children
FX Help is restricted to users 18 years and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.
10International transfers
Our primary infrastructure is in the European Union (Germany). When we share data with Google (Firebase) or other providers, transfers may occur to the United States or other countries. We rely on Standard Contractual Clauses or equivalent safeguards approved by the European Commission.
11Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top of the page reflects the most recent change. Material changes will be announced in the App and, where required, by an in-product notice or email.
